Studying at Harvard University has become more affordable for most families in the USA. The school is significantly expanding the range of financial aid it offers; for undergraduates from families with an annual income of no more than 0.2 million dollars, tuition will be waived; for undergraduates from families with an annual income of no more than 0.1 million dollars, it will be completely free. Families with an annual income exceeding 0.2 million dollars can also receive financial aid based on specific circumstances, such as the number of children in college and the level of family debt. Harvard University estimates that under this new system, 86% of families in the USA will qualify for financial assistance.
