SUNAC announced that based on the preliminary review of the unaudited management accounts for the year ending December 31, 2024, and the information currently available, it is expected that the loss attributable to owners for this year will be between 25.5 billion yuan and 26 billion yuan (for the year ending December 31, 2023, the loss attributable to owners was approximately 7.97 billion yuan). The loss this year is mainly due to the impact of the market downturn, a significant reduction in revenue carried forward, and simultaneous provisions for asset impairments and contingent liabilities. The annual loss attributable to owners has significantly increased compared to last year, primarily because of the recognition of overseas debt restructuring gains last year. If the effects of debt restructuring gains are excluded for both this year and last year, the loss attributable to owners is expected to have decreased compared to last year.
