On December 26, Guangzhou Automobile Group launched the self-developed third generation embodied intelligent humanoid robot — GoMate. At the event, GoMate showcased precise motion control, accurate navigation positioning, and flexible autonomous decision-making capabilities, demonstrating strong anti-interference, stability, and reliability. The debut of GoMate not only marks a significant breakthrough for Guangzhou Automobile Group in the field of intelligent robots but also indicates that the area of embodied intelligent humanoid robots is about to enter a new stage of development. Guangzhou Automobile Group plans to achieve mass production of self-developed components by 2025 to meet the growing market demand and will first implement complete machine demonstration applications in production lines and industrial parks of mainframe factories such as GAC Trumpchi and Aion; by 2026, small-batch production of complete machines will be realized and gradually expanded to large-scale production.
