On December 27, China's aero engine successfully ignited the 600-kilogram thrust high-end turbofan engine at Tianfu Lightweight. Tianfu Lightweight also held the Sichuan Tianfu New Area Low Altitude Economic Industry Cluster Construction Conference, where three series of aviation power products were launched, and cooperation framework agreements were signed with six units. The three series of products launched this time are the high-end long-life turbofan engine series, the advanced hybrid power series, and the economical disposable engine series, with representative products being the 600kgf class turbofan engine, the 60kW hybrid power system, and the 100kgf class turbojet engine. The 600-kilogram thrust high-end turbofan engine is the first self-developed product of Tianfu Lightweight, and according to the plan, this engine will have its maiden flight in June 2025 and complete its configuration in 2026, which will greatly enhance China's capabilities for drones in the 1.5 to 4-ton range.
