On December 14, at the 2024-2025 China Economic Annual Conference held at the China International Economic Exchange Center, Vice Minister of Commerce Sheng Qiuping stated that the Ministry of Commerce will integrate Consumer promotion with improving people's livelihoods, vigorously implement special actions to boost Consumer spending, introduce more practical measures, and continuously release Consumer potential, focusing on the following key areas. First, intensify and expand the implementation of the old-for-new policy for consumer goods to stabilize the basic Consumer market; second, innovate in organizing Consumer promotion activities to create a favorable consumption atmosphere; third, expand service consumption and optimize the consumption structure; fourth, cultivate and strengthen new types of consumption to stimulate Consumer vitality; fifth, adopt multiple measures to improve Consumer conditions and optimize the consumption environment.
