On the inventory side, last week, the average weight of Yungyi's market-ready pigs dropped by 1.7 kilograms, approaching the level from early November. After a faster market release, the supply of medium to large pigs has tightened further, leading to a significant expansion of the price difference for fat pigs. Looking ahead, the theoretical market-ready pig supply in January is high, and post-holiday, there is still a strong sentiment towards raising pigs at high prices, with significant pressure on the supply side.
