   - Twitter accounts of dozens of the biggest names in America including Joe Biden, Barack Obama, Kanye West, Bill Gates and Elon Musk were hacked on Wednesday as their accounts posted similar messages seeking bitcoin transfers.
   - Airbnb has resumed its efforts to go public, despite significant damage to the home rental business caused by the coronavirus pandemic, Airbnb's chief executive, Brian Chesky, told employees on Wednesday.
   - President Donald Trump on Wednesday shook up his re-election team with less than four months until November's vote, replacing his campaign manager, Brad Parscale, in an acknowledgment of the president's diminished standing in nearly all public and private polling since the spring.
   - In perhaps the strongest statement yet by a major American company about the importance of masks, Walmart  said it would require that all of its customers wear face coverings starting next week.
