Walmart said Wednesday it will require customers to wear masks in all of its more than 5,000 stores and clubs in the U.S., starting Monday. Daily coronavirus cases keep hitting new highs across the U.S., which still lacks a national policy in place for facial coverings. The biggest retailer in the U.S. follows other companies such as Best Buy, Starbucks and Costco Wholesale in enforcing their own policies in a socially positive effort to protect its customers and workers, and to stop the spread of the coronavirus. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends using cloth face coverings in public settings, saying it may help prevent spreading the virus.
