According to the judgment, the plaintiff sued iQiyi Company that Xing Hao Film Co., Ltd., the copyright owner of the work "Journey to the West," granted Beijing Qiyi Century Technology Co., Ltd. the exclusive right to disseminate information on the network and sub-license of the work in the Chinese mainland area. Datong Digital Company, without the authorization of iqiyi, provides online broadcasting services of the works involved in the case to the public through the information network in the "Channel" section of its "Datong Cable" TV platform. The behavior of Datong Digital Company has constituted infringement and caused huge losses to iqiyi Company.

The referee awarded Datong Digital Television Co., Ltd. a compensation of 12000 yuan for the economic loss of Beijing iqiyi Technology Co., Ltd. within seven days from the effective date of this judgment.

It is worth mentioning that Datong Digital TV Co., Ltd. was also sued by iqiyi for "I am your mother" and was eventually awarded 10000 yuan in compensation.
