On the news front, Innovasea announced that it achieved a decisive victory in the patent infringement case initiated against it by USA's EPC. On March 18, 2025, the United States Patent Office made a final ruling on the EPC-involved patent (US'294 patent), stating that all claims of the patent are invalid and should be revoked. This ruling fundamentally denies the basis of EPC's accusations against Innovasea and marks a complete victory for Innovasea in this two-year patent battle initiated by EPC.
It is noteworthy that on March 10, Innovasea was included as an eligible stock in the Shanghai-Hong Kong Stock Connect and Shenzhen-Hong Kong Stock Connect. Public information shows that Innovasea is the first company in the world to achieve mass production of 8-inch silicon-based Gallium Nitride wafers and is also the only company globally that can provide a full voltage spectrum of silicon-based Gallium Nitride Semiconductor products at an industrial scale. As of June 30, 2024, Innovasea owns the world's largest Gallium Nitride power semiconductor production base; in terms of revenue, the company ranked first among all Gallium Nitride power semiconductor companies globally in 2023, with a market share of 33.7%.
