Sapura Energy Berhad has acknowledged on the reports that investigation papers have been opened into alleged bribery and fund misappropriation on the company but added that it has not been contacted by MACC.

However, it did state that it is willing to cooperate with the MACC and will provide all necessary information as required to support their inquiries.

Sapura vows to uphold the highest standards of corporate governance, transparency, and integrity in all its operations and said that it understands the significance of keeping stakeholders informed.
