Lear <2998.T> announced on the 30th that it has acquired all shares of Usuki Securities (Hitachi City, Ibaraki Prefecture) and turned it into a wholly-owned subsidiary, and will participate in a third-party allotment of shares.

The company will acquire a total of 5.1 million shares, which are all the issued shares from three existing Shareholders, and will take on 7.5 million common stocks through a third-party allotment capital increase conducted by Usuki Securities. By turning it into a wholly-owned subsidiary, it aims to maintain the business and customer base that Usuki Securities has built up until now, while promoting the acquisition of licenses for entering the digital securities business, in order to realize the "Asset Management Nation" promoted by the Japanese government.

The closing price on the 30th was 2,780 yen, down 23 yen from the previous day.
