Regarding the USA Department of Defense listing, $TENCENT (00700.HK)$ as part of the Military Industry companies in China (according to the formal provisions of USA law as the "1260H list"), TENCENT stated in a declaration, "Being listed on this list is obviously a mistake; we are neither a military industry company nor a military supplier. Unlike export control or others, this list does not affect our Business. Nonetheless, we will still work with the relevant departments in the USA to resolve the misunderstanding."
According to other public reports, those who were also included in the 1260H list$Contemporary Amperex Technology (300750.SZ)$also responded, "This is a mistake; the company is not involved in any military-related activities."
It is understood that the 1260H list of the USA Department of Defense has had multiple operational adjustment records, with many companies being removed from the list a few months after being added, including$Advanced Micro-Fabrication Equipment Inc. China (688012.SH)$IDG Capital, China International Engineering Consulting Corporation, Fujian Torch Electron Technology Co., Ltd. ( $Fujian Torch Electron Technology (603678.SH)$ )、$SMIC (00981.HK)$Hong Kong (International) Limited and other companies have all been listed on the 1260H list, but were ultimately removed.
