An X user stated on Monday that the USA elected President Trump won, and with Trudeau resigning, Musk replied that this year will be a good one, implying his support for Trudeau's resignation.
Trump also reiterated his suggestion earlier this month that Canada should become a state of the USA, stating that many Canadians would like to become the 51st state of the USA, and if Canada merges with the USA, there would be no tariffs, and citizens' tax expenses would decrease significantly.
