Stock prices of European automakers including Stellantis NV (NYSE:STLA) and Volkswagen AG (OTC:VWAGY) stocks dropped Friday after some plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs) lost access to US tax credits under President Joe Biden's Inflation Reduction Act effective this week.
