According to the ZhTong Finance APP, as the wave of AI applications sweeps in, Wedbush Analysts have released a research report expressing a bullish outlook for Oracle (ORCL.US) and Snowflake (SNOW.US) in the coming year.
The firm also considers Palantir (PLTR.US) and Salesforce (CRM.US) as major players in the AI Software Industry. MongoDB (MDB.US) and Elastic (ESTC.US) are also included and are rated as "Outperform" with target prices of $135, $360, and $190 respectively for Elastic, MongoDB, and Snowflake.
In a report on Thursday led by Daniel Ives, Wedbush Analysts stated that future AI spending is expected to exceed $2 trillion, starting with AI pioneer Jensen Huang and NVIDIA (NVDA.US), as they remain the only company in the market with new "Gold" and "Oil" chips.
In addition, top cloud providers and hyperscale companies, such as Microsoft (MSFT.US), Google (GOOGL.US), and Amazon (AMZN.US) AWS, have also played a key role in the first phase of AI.
Ives added: "Now is the time for the broader software space to join the AI ranks, as we believe use cases are growing exponentially, with enterprise consumer spending set to begin in 2025, fully rolling out LLM models, and genuine adoption of generative AI will be the main catalyst for the software industry and key players to benefit from the fourth industrial revolution that will benefit the technology field. In our view, the AI software era has arrived."
