On December 29, Gelonghui reported that the latest disclosed documents show that Warren Buffett's Berkshire company invested an additional $28.55 million in the internet domain registration company VeriSign (VRSN.US) over three trading days leading up to Christmas Eve, strengthening its position as the largest Shareholder in the company. Together with the previously acquired Stocks, Berkshire currently Holds 13.7% of VeriSign's outstanding shares, valued at nearly $2.7 billion. According to the Form 4 document that Berkshire filed with the securities regulator later on Thursday (26th), the latest purchase amounted to 143,424 shares. Looking back at the six trading days before the 24th, a total of $73.95 million was spent to acquire 377,736 shares of VeriSign, with a weighted average purchase price of $195.78.
