Over the last year, a good number of insiders have significantly increased their holdings in WEBTOON Entertainment Inc. (NASDAQ:WBTN). This is encouraging because it indicates that insiders are more optimistic about the company's prospects.

Although we don't think shareholders should simply follow insider transactions, we would consider it foolish to ignore insider transactions altogether.

We do always like to see insider buying, but it is worth noting if those purchases were made at well below today's share price, as the discount to value may have narrowed with the rising price. The good news for WEBTOON Entertainment share holders is that insiders were buying at near the current price.
