On December 26, Gelonghui reported that the USA's space exploration startup Intuitive Machines recently announced that the company has again obtained a contract for Earth Direct Communications Services from the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) for near-Earth Space Network. Both contracts are fixed-price, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity task orders aimed at strengthening NASA's lunar exploration ground station. The awarding of these contracts will increase communication capacity, alleviate the demand pressure on the Deep Space Network, and support unique mission requirements. In September of this year, NASA awarded Intuitive Machines a contract worth up to 4.82 billion dollars for the near-space network, including the deployment and operation of a lunar data relay Satellite constellation.
