ANA Holdings Inc has been selected as a component of the "Dow Jones Sustainability World Index (DJSI World)" for eight consecutive years, which is a representative social responsibility investment (SRI) indicator globally, and as a component of the "Dow Jones Sustainability Asia Pacific Index (DJSI Asia Pacific)" for nine consecutive years.
DJSI is a representative indicator of SRI developed in partnership by USA's S&P Dow Jones Indices and Switzerland's RobecoSAM, analyzing corporate activities from three aspects: economy, environment, and society, to select companies that excel in sustainability. In 2024, 321 companies (including 37 from Japan) were selected for the World Index from approximately 2,500 major global companies, and 161 companies (including 78 from Japan) were selected for the Asia Pacific Index from approximately 600 major companies in the Asia-Pacific Region.
In this evaluation, the ANA Group received the highest ratings in the airline industry for its management of important issues related to corporate value creation, human resource strategy, and safety, as well as high evaluations for responses to climate change, management of water consumption, supply chain management, and protection of customer privacy. The company is also a component of notable social responsibility investment indicators such as the "FTSE4Good Index," "FTSE Blossom Japan Index," "FTSE Blossom Japan Sector Relative Index," "MSCI ESG Leaders Indexes," "MSCI Japan ESG Select Leaders Index," and "MSCI Japan Gender Diversity Index (WIN)" among others that were selected this time.
The ANA Group will continue to base its operations on safety while aiming for sustainable growth through the simultaneous creation of social and economic value.
