Starbucks (SBUX.US) announced on Tuesday that the strike will expand to over 300 stores in the USA, involving more than 5,000 workers.
The Starbucks Workers Union, representing employees from 525 stores across the USA, stated that more than 60 stores in 12 major cities, including New York, Los Angeles, Boston, and Seattle, have been closed.
Negotiations between Starbucks and the union have stalled due to unresolved issues related to wages, staffing, and schedules, leading to the strike that began last Friday.
