CLP Holdings (00002.HK) subsidiary China Light and Power signed a letter of intent and project participation agreement during the signing ceremony for the Northern Metropolis Development last Friday (November 29), expressing full support and participation in the Northern Metropolis Development.
China Light and Power President Ro Ka Chuen stated that to accommodate the current and future development of innovation and technology, industry, and housing in the Northern Metropolis, the electrical utilities system has reserved sufficient power to meet the electricity demand of facilities such as the San Tin Technology City and the Sha Ling datacenter and supercomputing center. In the future, electricity supply plans will be implemented according to the actual development pace of the Northern Metropolis, in coordination with the government's decision-making bureau and departments to realize the necessary grid expansion plans and expedite relevant electricity supply planning work.
