Maxis Issues Statement Over Demise Of AK

Maxis Malaysia Berhad has issued an official statement with regard to the demise of its founder Tan Sri Ananda Krishnan who passed away on 28 November.

The group said everyone at Maxis is grieving the passing of Mr. Ananda Krishnan whose philanthropy improved the lives of many and his contributions to the development of Malaysia and the business world were significant. Ananda started Maxis back in 1995 and had it listed in 2002 as Maxis Communications, not satisfied with the valuation, he then privatised Maxis and delisted it in 2007 only to float it again in 2009.
