Tam Chai International (02217.HK) announced that, based on international financial reporting criteria, its controlling shareholder Toridoll Japan overseas division recorded revenues of 51.577 billion yen for the six months ended September, up 27.4% year-on-year. Operating profit was ¥0.918 billion, down 45.6% year-on-year.

Meanwhile, Tam Chai International's revenue for the period was HK$1.404 billion, up 1.2% year-on-year, and profit after tax declined 56.1% to HK$36 million.
