SunFrontier Real Estate <8934>'s subsidiary, SunFrontier Hotel Management Co., Ltd., held a joint press conference with the Sakata Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Sakata City, Yamagata Prefecture on November 5. They announced the opening of a new hotel, Tabi no Hotel Lit Sakata, scheduled for December 2026.

The company is working on revitalizing the region, promoting industry, and creating employment opportunities through its hotel business. They signed a "Collaboration Agreement for Regional Revitalization" with Sakata City in July 2023, and the three parties, including the Sakata Chamber of Commerce and Industry, have been discussing regional revitalization through new hotel and tourism businesses. The opening of Tabi no Hotel Lit Sakata marks the first phase of the regional revitalization project.
