Standard Chartered Bank (China) and Ctrip (09961.HK) signed a memorandum of strategic cooperation at the 7th China International Import Expo. Building on their previous collaboration, both parties will further advance comprehensive business cooperation in mainland China and key overseas markets, aiming to provide higher quality financial services and travel experiences for China's growing overseas travel demand.
According to the memorandum of cooperation, Standard Chartered China will coordinate Standard Chartered's global resources to deepen comprehensive cooperation with Ctrip in mainland China and other major overseas markets. At the same time, Standard Chartered will provide comprehensive enterprise financial services for Ctrip's global operations, supporting Ctrip's development needs both domestically and internationally.
Ben Hung, CEO Greater China and North Asia at Standard Chartered Bank Hong Kong, mentioned that the cobranded debit card launched earlier in collaboration with Ctrip was well-received by travelers, providing high-net-worth customers with a quality cross-border consumer experience. It is expected that both parties will work together in the field of sustainable development in the future.
