The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology recently held the first plenary meeting of the Low Altitude Industry Development Leading Group to discuss and deploy key tasks to promote the high-quality development of the low altitude industry. The meeting emphasized actively and prudently developing the low altitude industry to create a new model of industrialization. The draft proposal put forward specific subsidy plans, with a total funding amount not exceeding 0.16 billion yuan in 2024, not exceeding 0.22 billion yuan in 2025, and not exceeding 0.21 billion yuan in 2026, with no adjustment to the funding amount for each year.
Yin Shenglu of Kaiyuan Securities stated that the low altitude economy has seen vertical implementation from the macro (national industrial planning) to the meso (subsidies at the local level) and then to the micro (tendering for infrastructure hosts and creating application scenarios). It is recommended to pay attention to the subsequent sector trends of the low altitude economy.
