Nomura Securities Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Nomura Securities") has become the subject of a recommendation for the issuance of a penalty payment order disclosed by the Securities and Exchange Surveillance Commission on September 25, 2024, regarding its actions in the government bond futures trade* in March 2021. Nomura Securities received a penalty payment order (21.76 million yen) from the Financial Services Agency on October 30 and has paid it today.
