According to the data research institution IDC, China's third-quarter smart phone deliveries increased by 3.2% year-on-year to 68.78 million units. Vivo ranked first with a market share of 18.6%, followed by Apple (AAPL.US) and Huawei with market shares of 15.6% and 15.3% respectively, ranking second and third, while Xiaomi (01810.HK) and Honor each had over 14% market share.

The institution also mentioned that Vivo and Xiaomi saw year-on-year increases of 21.5% and 12.8% in smartphone deliveries during the quarter, with Huawei increasing by 42% and Apple decreasing by 0.3% year-on-year. IDC indicates that with increased future market promotions and the launch of Apple Vision Pro, the market demand for the future Apple iPhone 16 series is expected to gradually emerge.
