Shangtai Technology (001301.SZ) announced on October 14 that, in order to seize the overseas market development opportunities, explore international development strategies, and meet the needs of downstream customers and end markets, the company plans to establish a wholly-owned subsidiary in Malaysia with its own funds or self-raised funds, and invest in the construction of a 0.05 million tons per year lithium-ion battery anode material project in Malaysia. The total investment for this project is preliminarily planned at approximately 0.154 billion US dollars (equivalent to about 1.09 billion yuan, subject to the actual investment amount in the end), with an expected construction period of 24 months (subject to the actual construction situation in the end).
