From September 30th to October 2nd local time, the 35th Asia-Pacific Cemetery and Cremation Association (ACCA) Annual Meeting was held in Adelaide, Australia. Wang Jisheng, Executive Director and President of Fu Shou Yuan International Group, led a delegation of eight people to attend the annual meeting, and was invited to give keynote speeches and share insights, as well as to engage in forum exchanges with participants.

The ACCA Annual Meeting this year had nearly 200 representatives from member units around the world, hailing from countries such as Australia, China, New Zealand, the USA, the Netherlands, etc. The influence of ACCA continues to expand, with a growing number of member units, innovative conference formats, and diverse and rich content.

This year's ACCA Annual Meeting covered three main segments: conference forums, expos, and cemetery visit exchanges. The meeting featured over twenty keynote speakers giving thematic speeches, covering various aspects and topics of funeral development such as "Funeral development seen through the science of death research", "Quality assurance and consumer rating system for global death care", "Framework and path for brand differentiation", "A good memorial can help people better understand and cope with life challenges", "The role of the funeral industry in enhancing community empathy and connection", "Perpetual cemetery asset management", "Green asset management", and "Natural and organic eco-friendly emission reduction in the funeral industry", delivering new insights to practitioners. Additionally, during the roundtable forum, the meeting also invited guests to discuss the future trends in funeral development, offering forward-thinking considerations for practitioners.

Fu Shou Yuan International Group's executive director and president Wang Jisheng was invited to give a speech on the theme of "Modern Technology and Funeral." He pointed out that global digitization and technological innovation, especially the widespread application of artificial intelligence, big data analysis, and cloud computing, have driven digital transformation and innovation across various industries. Against the backdrop of rapid development in digital technology, the funeral industry must actively embrace digital transformation, using modern technology to preserve "carbon-based life" and "silicon-based life," making the "marks" of human life beautiful, the "records" profound, and the "memories" lasting. President Wang Jisheng's wonderful speech received high attention from international industry guests and sparked new reflections on future industry development among attendees.

During the event, Cheng Nana (right), the general manager of Ma Mountain Funeral Home under Fu Shou Yuan International Group, shared a series of practical cases under the strategic guidance of Fu Shou Yuan's "3JI" (mark, record, commemorate), introducing the group's current stage of digital development and product system, such as life digital memorial halls, the creation of immersive digital memorial spaces, modern technology funerals, the use of digital human scenes, and exploration of cases, etc.

During the meeting, a funeral exhibition was also arranged, showcasing the latest products and related items representing the new trends in the industry. The exhibition content covers online memorials, eco-friendly and artistic cremation urns, modern copper handicrafts, internet products, funeral finance, funeral publications media, etc. Attendees discussed cross-sectoral applications of funeral products and other topics with exhibitors during tea breaks, learning about the latest industry information, sharing insights, and promoting mutual learning.

During the conference, the organizers organized participants to visit the Adelaide Enfield Memorial Park. Adelaide Enfield Memorial Park focuses on ecology and nature, with the newly designed and built modern memorial multifunctional hall being the most famous. The products in the park emphasize the integration of landscapes and the design of line relationships. Product design respects personalized memorials, while also incorporating modern and humanistic concepts.

At the closing ceremony, the Australian ACCA Association and Fu Shou Yuan International Group (01448) exchanged memorabilia. Lauren Handgrove, Chairman of the Australian ACCA Association, thanked Fu Shou Yuan International Group for their attention and support as conference sponsors.
