Bursa Freezes Lower Limit Share Price For Pertama Digital After Sharp Fall

Bursa Securities has informed that the Lower Limit Price of Pertama Digital will be maintained as RM0.785 due to the counter trading at Static Limit Down prices for two consecutive trading days.

The stock took a sharp dive from RM2.07 to close at RM0.78 on Friday closing, Bursa had issued a UMA query on the drop with the group responding that it is unware on the reasons for the sell-off.

On October 3, Pertama Digital Berhad's Executive Director Sabri Ab Rahman said that he is unaware of the reasons behind the recent dip in stock prices and assured stakeholders that the company remains strong and well positioned for sustainable growth.

Notably, the group has received an extension of time (EOT) from Bursa Malaysia to submit its regularisation plan by the first week of February 2025. This extension will PDB to finalise several key initiatives, including the proposed acquisition of a controlling stake in Kridentia
