LIXIL Co., Ltd. (hereafter, LIXIL) has added pole construction specifications and stationary specifications to the facade product “delivery box KN,” which leads to a reduction in redelivery, and will sell it nationwide from 2024/10/1.

In recent years, due to the rapid expansion of EC, the volume of courier services handled in fiscal 2022 has exceeded 5 billion 5.88 million units*1, and the redelivery rate in 2022/10 continues to be high at about 11.8% *2, and reducing redelivery is an urgent issue, as is called the “2024 logistics problem.” Furthermore, redelivery of courier services has led to an increase in CO₂ emissions, which is one of the major social issues.
LIXIL added 4 types of products with delivery boxes to the lineup this spring, leading to a reduction in redelivery. And now, pole construction specifications and stationary specifications have been added to the “Delivery Box KN,” and it will go on sale.
Pole construction and stationary specifications that are easy to install even when remodeling have been added, and they can be used in more diverse houses than ever before.
Also, a roundtable discussion held while actually seeing LIXIL delivery boxes was shown to people from the “Comfortable Living Study Group” who use delivery boxes on a daily basis.

■Expost KN Delivery Box KN
It is a product with a high degree of freedom that can be selected for single or integrated use of the post and delivery box. The double door structure conceals functional parts, screws, mounting joints, etc. with an outer door, and is finished in a noiseless design that fits into the wall. Also, delivery boxes are mechanical, which do not require electrical wiring.
