Consider sustainable regional development
"Akita de Workation College" holds a workshop

ANA Akindo Co., Ltd. Akita Branch (Location: Akita City, Akita Prefecture Branch Manager: Hiroshi Kotani, hereinafter referred to as 'ANA Akita Branch') is strengthening its reception system for 'Workation,' one of the 'new ways of working' implemented by Akita Prefecture, aiming to establish and expand relationships between visitors and Akita, and to create a population of stakeholders, etc. We have been awarded the 'Akita de Workation Coordination System Strengthening Project' and are implementing the planning and operation. On September 24th (Tuesday), we held the first online seminar to learn about the specific utilization of workation as a means for sustainable community development, and the method of establishing reception systems for targets and regions.
This time, we will conduct workshops on October 16th (Wednesday) in Haga Town, Akita Prefecture, and on December 6th (Friday) in Oga City, Akita Prefecture, targeting local businesses in Akita Prefecture to clarify the roles of various entities within the region, and to implement a self-sustainable Workation reception system and strengthen the regional network.
Yusuke Muraoka, representative of Yado & Kissa UGOHUB, will serve as the regional coordinator for Haga Town, and Makoto Saruda will be the coordinator for Oga City. In addition, we will be joined by Yoshitaka Morishige from the Nanki Shirahama Airport Co., Ltd., who has served as a regional coordinator in Wakayama Prefecture, known as the birthplace and holy land of Workation, attracting about 200 companies and 3,000 Workation projects, and has advised the Tourism Agency on Workation projects and acted as a regional advisor in various regions nationwide. Together with the participants, we will consider the future vision of the region utilizing Workation.

ANA Akindo Akita Branch will continue to collaborate with the local community and strive to create sustainable initiatives that utilize the abundant regional resources of Akita Prefecture. Through this, we will promote the regional issues and attractions of Akita and work towards creating a relationship population and fostering exchanges.
