天井工事用の大型ステージ足場を電動台車で楽々移動

Easily move large ceiling construction scaffolding using an electric cart.

Recently, Shimizu Construction Co., Ltd., led by President Kazuyuki Inoue, has developed an electric cart called the "Stage Scaffolding Moving Cart". The purpose of this cart is to improve the productivity of high-rise building construction projects. It can freely tow the stage scaffolding used in ceiling facilities and interior construction in any direction. This electric cart was produced in cooperation with Nabtesco Corporation, led by President Kazumasa Kimura, and uses the company's mecanum wheels (omnidirectional wheels) for its wheels. It can transport a maximum weight of 3 tons, including the loading materials, and move a stage scaffolding with a floor area of 100m2. This reduces the need to replace scaffolding within the construction floor, improving the efficiency of ceiling construction.

In the ceiling construction of buildings with large floor areas, it is generally necessary to work on a stage scaffolding that combines multiple movable indoor scaffolds. In this case, expanding the stage area increases work efficiency, but also increases the quantity of scaffold materials used. This makes handling tasks such as transport, assembly, and disassembly more complicated. In particular, in the case of super high-rise buildings with multiple construction floors, the transport of scaffold materials between floors presents a significant challenge to site operation. Therefore, we have developed the Stage Scaffolding Moving Cart as a tool to contribute to the efficient use of stage scaffolding.

The Stage Scaffolding Moving Cart is a battery-powered electric cart equipped with four mecanum wheels. It can freely move in the forward, backward, left, right, and diagonal directions while keeping the direction of the vehicle fixed. The connection with the stage scaffolding is made using a pipe base provided on the top surface of the vehicle, into which a pipe fixed to the legs at the center of the stage is inserted and secured with screws. Additionally, counterweights corresponding to the weight of the scaffolding are loaded onto the vehicle to ensure smooth movement. The cart is operated using a wireless controller, allowing the operator to control it from the stage.

By using this electric cart for moving stage scaffolding, it is possible to efficiently carry out construction without covering the entire floor with scaffolding, thus reducing the amount of scaffold material used. We plan to introduce it to our own construction sites for high-rise buildings and improve productivity through verification of its effectiveness.
