FTSE Russell announced that the FTSE China 50 index is composed of 50 of the largest and most liquid H-share stocks listed in Hong Kong. In this quarterly review, China Tower (00788.HK) was included in the index, while China International Capital Corporation (03908.HK) was excluded.
The FTSE China A50 index will include China National Nuclear Power (601985.SH) and two other A-shares, while China Tourism Group Duty Free Corporation (601888.SH) and Yihai Kerry Arawana Holdings (300999.SZ) will be removed. The changes will take effect after the market closes on September 20th (Friday). (wl/w)
