SAP announced on Monday that its Chief Technology Officer, Jürgen Müller, will leave the company at the end of September citing inappropriate behavior during previous company activities.
According to Zhongtong Finance APP, SAP (SAP.US) stated on Monday that its Chief Technology Officer, Jürgen Müller, will leave the company at the end of September due to inappropriate behavior during previous company activities. In a statement, Jürgen Müller said, "I would like to respond to my inappropriate behavior during past company activities. I apologize for not thinking things through and sincerely apologize to anyone affected. I acknowledge that my behavior at the time did not reflect the company's values. I take full responsibility and believe that resigning is the best choice for the company."
According to reports, Jürgen Müller joined SAP in 2013 and was appointed as a member of the executive board in 2019. SAP stated that CEO Christian Klein will take over most of the affairs of the Technology and Innovation Committee led by Jürgen Müller.
