Barbara served as a steward for the day, warmly welcoming visitors and sharing her knowledge, answering questions. But the day didn't just stop at the museum doors. Barbara also joined a fascinating tour of the nearby historic Ash Cemetery. Here, she learned about the painstaking work that goes into cleaning and maintaining the war graves, ensuring that those who gave the ultimate sacrifice are honoured with the respect they deserve.

The cemetery tour was especially poignant, it's wonderful to see the care and attention given to such important sites."
