According to the Zhitong Finance App, Wutong International (00613) announced the 2024 interim results. The group achieved total revenue of HK$53.446 million during the period, a year-on-year decrease of 17.98%; losses attributable to shareholders were HK$91.05 million, an increase of 196.68% over the previous year; and the basic loss per share was 9.63 HK cents.

According to the announcement, revenue from financial services, including other financial services, totaled approximately HK$46.2 million (2023: approximately HK$34.8 million). Interest income from the Group's money lending business was reduced to approximately HK$1.6 million (2023: approximately HK$24.1 million). Rental income decreased slightly to approximately HK$5.7 million during the period (2023: approximately HK$6 million). There was no tactical or strategic business revenue during the period (2023: approximately HK$0.3 million) because no dividends were collected from the financial assets held by the Group.
