Consortium Led By Rohas Awarded RM123 Million SG Rasau Water Project
The owner of Sg. Rasau Package 2 Project is Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd and the total contract sum for the Sg Rasau Package 2 Project is RM123 million. Rohas Rechnic Berhad announced that Rohas-Euco Industries Bhd –One Ocean Environment Sdn Bhd Consortium, comprising Rohas-Euco Industries Bhd ("REI"), a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company, and One Ocean Environment Sdn Bhd has accepted a Letter of Award issued by Gamuda for tthr Sg Rasau Water Treatment Plant Package 2.

The Consortium, formed by REI and OOESB was established to bid for and undertake the execution of the Sungai Rasau Package 2 Project. Upon the award of the Sg Rasau Package 2 Project to the Consortium, REI and OOESB said they will enter into a detailed joint venture agreement with a proposed equity ratio of 51% to REI and 49% to OOES.

Rohas said the Sg. Rasau Package 2 Project will not have any effect on the share capital and substantial shareholders' shareholding as it does not involve any allotment or issuance of new shares.
