Esprit Holdings (00330.HK) issued a profit warning, expecting a loss of approximately 95 million yuan for the six months ending in June, compared to a profit of 0.714 billion yuan in the same period last year. The significant decrease in loss was mainly due to one-time income of approximately 3.651 billion yuan generated from the restructuring and spin-off of European subsidiaries; however, this was offset by trademark impairment, intangible asset impairment, and property, plant, and equipment impairment totaling approximately 1.846 billion yuan, as well as inventory provision and accounts receivable provision totaling approximately 1.292 billion yuan.
