The group's profit amounted to 0.308 billion Hong Kong dollars, a decrease of 7.1% compared to the same period last year; the attributable loss to the owners of the company was 7.9 million Hong Kong dollars, a narrower decrease of 17.71% compared to the same period last year; with a basic loss per share of 1.21 Hong Kong cents.

The announcement stated that in the first half of 2024, the number of Hong Kong residents traveling abroad increased significantly compared to the same period of the previous year. Coupled with changes in the consumption patterns of tourists and local residents, this had a detrimental impact on business performance. The revenue of the Hong Kong retail trade decreased to 0.236 billion Hong Kong dollars, a 6.1% decrease from 0.252 billion Hong Kong dollars in the first half of 2023. At the same time, the revenue of the wholesale business also decreased to 71.7 million Hong Kong dollars, a 10.4% decrease from 80 million Hong Kong dollars in the first half of 2023.
