According to the announcement released by MATRIX HOLDINGS (01005), the group expects a net loss attributable to owners of the company of approximately HKD 85 million for the six-month period ending on June 30, 2024, compared to a net profit attributable to owners of the company of approximately HKD 0.4 million for the same period last year.

The board of directors believes that the main reason for the group's transition from profit to loss is a decrease in revenue for the six-month period ending on June 30, 2024, compared to the same period last year, by no less than 41%. The decline in revenue is due to the serious resistance faced by the world economy amidst weak growth prospects, rising inflation, and increasing uncertainty.
