According to the Futu Finance APP, the Chief Executive of Hong Kong proposed in last year's Policy Address to accelerate the construction of the digital government and actively collaborate with Guangdong Province to promote 'global top e-commerce' of government services between the two places. On August 23, the Hong Kong Digital Policy Office announced the establishment of the Hong Kong 'global top e-commerce' self-service machine in Zhuhai, making it convenient for residents and companies in mainland cities within the south china greater bay area concept to apply for Hong Kong government services without having to go to Hong Kong in person.

From now on, residents can go to the Comprehensive Service Hall on the third floor of Building 1 of the Zhuhai Citizen Service Center to use the 'global top e-commerce' self-service machine to apply for multiple Hong Kong government services. The self-service machine is available for use during the opening hours of the service center (Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 12:00 pm and 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm, excluding mainland holidays).

Following the establishment of the Hong Kong 'global top e-commerce' self-service machines in Guangzhou, Shenzhen Qianhai, and Futian, the self-service machines currently provide about 70 government services from 11 bureaus, departments, and relevant institutions, covering commonly used services for enterprises and citizens, including taxation, company registration, property and vehicle queries and registration, personal certification documents, and talent immigration applications.

A spokesperson for the Hong Kong Digital Office said that they will continue to discuss with the Guangdong Provincial Government and Data Office to set up more Hong Kong 'global top e-commerce' self-service machines and 'Smart Convenience' self-registration stations in more cities within the south china greater bay area concept to meet the needs of residents and businesses in the greater bay area for Hong Kong government services.
