Amanah Raya Berhad (AmanahRaya) has unveiled its new My AmanahRaya mobile application, a digital initiative aimed at simplifying the process of Will Writing for the public. The launch event, held at The Intermark Mall, also marked the beginning of AmanahRaya Group's Merdeka Month Celebration 2024.
Tan Sri Idrus Harun, Chairman of AmanahRaya, officiated the app launch. The My AmanahRaya app has been designed to enhance legacy planning by offering a range of features that include locating the nearest agents, scheduling appointments, reviewing and confirming documents, and accessing free advisory services on Will Writing.
"The My AmanahRaya application consolidates all our services into a single platform, making it easier for customers to access AmanahRaya's offerings," Tan Sri Idrus explained. "Equipped with innovative features, the app aims to make legacy planning, especially Will Writing, more convenient. It enables users to manage transactions efficiently, anytime and anywhere, ensuring a more organised approach."
Encik Ahmad Feizal Sulaiman Khan, Group Managing Director of AmanahRaya, highlighted the app's alignment with the Malaysian government's push for greater technology and digitalisation within government agencies. He noted, "The app not only facilitates the application and registration process for new AmanahRaya agents but also creates job opportunities and additional income for the public. As of the end of July 2024, AmanahRaya has registered 1.1 million wills and manages over RM1.7 billion in estate files and RM1.3 billion in trust files."
The launch event was attended by AmanahRaya's strategic partners, corporate clients, management, staff, and board members, marking a significant step towards enhancing digital access to essential legacy planning services.
