On a month-on-month basis, in July, the value added of industries above scale increased by 0.35% over the previous month.

In June, China's industrial value added declined slightly, production grew steadily, and overall operation was stable.

On August 15, the National Bureau of Statistics released data showing that in July, the value added of industries above scale actually increased by 5.1% year-on-year (the growth rates of value added are all actual growth rates after deducting price factors). On a month-on-month basis, in July, the value added of industries above scale increased by 0.35% over the previous month. From January to July, the value added of large-scale industries increased by 5.9% year-on-year.

Look at them in three categories:

In July, the value added of the mining industry increased 4.6% year on year, the manufacturing industry grew by 5.3%, and the production and supply of electricity, heat, gas and water increased by 4.0%.

By type of economy:

In July, the value added of state-owned enterprises increased by 3.5% year on year; joint-stock enterprises increased by 5.4%; foreign-invested enterprises, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan increased by 4.2%; and private enterprises increased by 5.2%.

By industry:

In July, 33 of the 41 major industries maintained year-on-year growth in value added.

The coal mining and washing industry grew 4.7%, the oil and gas extraction industry grew 5.7%, the agricultural and sideline food processing industry grew 0.2%, the wine, beverage and refined tea manufacturing industry grew 2.7%, the textile industry grew 5.9%, the chemical raw materials and chemical products manufacturing industry grew 8.6%, the non-metallic mineral products industry fell 1.5%, the non-ferrous metal smelting and rolling processing industry grew 9.4%, the general equipment manufacturing industry grew 2.5%, the automobile industry grew 4.4%, the railway and ship industry grew 4.4% The aerospace and other transportation equipment manufacturing industry grew by 12.7%, the electrical machinery and equipment manufacturing industry grew by 2.8%, the computer, communications and other electronic equipment manufacturing industry grew by 14.3%, and the electricity, heat production and supply industry grew by 3.2%.

View by product:

In July, the output of 367 out of 619 products in large-scale industries increased year-on-year.

114.36 million tons of steel, down 4.0% year on year; 153.68 million tons of cement, down 12.4%; 6.56 million tons of ten non-ferrous metals, up 8.2%; 2.77 million tons of ethylene, up 8.6%; 2.297 million vehicles, down 2.4%, including 0.988 million new energy vehicles, up 27.8%; power generation capacity 883.1 billion kilowatt-hours, up 2.5%; crude oil processing 59.06 million tons, down 6.1%.

In July, the product sales rate of industrial enterprises above scale was 97.2%, down 0.5 percentage points from the previous year; industrial enterprises above scale achieved export delivery value of 1278.5 billion yuan, a nominal increase of 6.4% over the previous year.
