Daido Group (00544.HK) issued a profit warning, expecting a loss of not less than 19.6 million yuan for the first half of the year ending June, compared to a profit of about 11.833 million yuan in the same period last year.
The company stated that the expected loss was mainly due to the absence of one-off income from the sale of subsidiaries in the first half of this year, a decrease of about 45% in revenue from mainland food and beverage trade and sales business, and a decrease of about 15% in revenue from frozen warehouse and related services. The above-mentioned decrease in business income is mainly due to the challenges brought by the macroeconomic situation, which has weakened the demand for the group's products and services. (VC/U)
