韩国五大金融集团上半年净利润创历史新高

Glonghui, July 29丨According to Korea's Asia Daily, South Korea's financial sector, the net profit of the five largest financial holding groups in South Korea, including KB, New Korea, Korea Asia, Woori, and Agricultural Cooperative, for the second quarter of this year was 6.2266 trillion won (approximately RMB 32.7 billion), an increase of 23.5% over the previous year, setting a record for the highest net profit in a single quarter. Specifically, KB Financial Group's net profit for the second quarter of this year was 1.7324 trillion won, up 15.6% year on year; Shinhan Financial Group's net profit was 1.4255 trillion won, up 15.1% year on year; Korea Asia Financial Group net profit was 1.0347 trillion won; Woori Financial Group's net profit was 931 billion won, up 12% year on year; and Nonghyup Financial Group's net profit was 1.1026 trillion won, up 45% year on year. The increase in performance was mainly due to the steady increase in interest income in the banking sector, while the performance of other sectors such as securities and insurance increased in a balanced manner. The interest income of the five major financial holding groups for the second quarter of this year was 12.5234 trillion won, an increase of 1.8% over the previous year.
