The Macau Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau posted on a social application in mainland China yesterday (24th), announcing that a special inspection and audit of Macau entertainment venues was conducted recently, and suspected gambling intermediary activities were found, that is, non-licensed gambling intermediaries engaging in gambling business.
The Macau Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau said that for behaviors suspected of violating the legal provisions of the entertainment venue's lucky gambling operation system and other laws and regulations, the authorities will strictly follow up in accordance with the law, and will take necessary preventive measures against suspected violators when appropriate, preventing them from entering entertainment venues. In addition, in order to comply with the Lucky Gambling Credit Legal System for Entertainment Venues, which will take effect on the 1st of next month, the Macau Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau will also strengthen relevant supervision work.
The Macau Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau reiterated that all gambling activities and business operations in all Macau entertainment venues must be strictly in accordance with the current gambling laws and regulations. The authorities will carry out various supervision work in accordance with the law, ensuring the legal operation of Macau lucky gambling activities through daily supervision and a series of targeted special inspections and audits.
