Prosperous Ind (01731) announced that in July 2024, the company has identified three external consultants to provide advice on the potential further development, project management, program design, and construction drawing design for the development of the land. The company expects independent third-party professionals to conduct in-depth research on the overall planning and execution plan of the potential further development.

The land is located south of Xingye Road, Nancun Town, Panyu District, Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province, China, with a total area of 0.1371 million square meters. The land use term of Class I industrial land (M1) is 50 years from 2007.

The announcement said that the land is located in a prime location in Panyu, Guangzhou, in the supporting area of Guangzhou Science and Technology Group, which undertakes the transformation of scientific and technological achievements. It is adjacent to Guangzhou South Station, about 20 kilometers away (about 30 minutes by car), and has convenient transportation network. In addition, the selling prices and/or rents of Class I industrial land (M1) buildings in Panyu are lower than those in other prime locations such as Guangzhou and Shenzhen, which is attractive to local entrepreneurs in the science and technology group supporting area, south bank of Guangzhou University City and Guangzhou campus of South China University of Technology. After the strategic adjustment of the group's production capacity and capacity gradually shifting from China to Vietnam and Cambodia, the group has been in contact with relevant professionals and government authorities for many years to seek further optimization of the development opportunities of the land.
